Blend of Family Private Reserve rums, aged for up to 30 years, Botran&Co gets its notes from its aging in white American oak barrels that formerly aged American Whiskey; charred barrels, barrels that formerly aged old Sherries, barrels that kept Port wines, and barrels that formerly aged fine South American wines.
Nose: In nose it presents aromas of apricots, red fruits, grapes, raisins, maple syrup and charred wood, in addition to hints of vanilla, spices and citrus notes.
Palate: In the palate, sweet, apricot, silky, honey, spicy, nutty, and raisin flavors are enhanced by a complex and marked persistence.
Ron Añejo Botran Solera 1893
Color: Rich mahogany with golden lowlights.
Body: Generous and full bodied, velvety.
Nose: Friendly and sophisticated with distinctive expressiveness. At the outset, the notes are rich in woodiness, roasted cacao, vanilla and whiffs of caramel. As the rum breathes, the aroma of dried fruit emerges together with dried cranberries, spicy fragrance, orange peel and hints of citrus.
Palate: Robust and succulent, dry and explosive. Elegant notes of candied fruit together with spices such as cloves, nutmeg and pepper join roasted cacao and delicate citrus fruit. Long, caressing finish.
